Imagine Dragons choose Switchcraft patchbays
Tuesday, 30 September, 2014
Alternative rock band Imagine Dragons, the group behind chart-topping hits like ‘Radioactive’ and ‘Demons’, has chosen Switchcraft interconnect and accessory products to help complete the band’s new recording studio in Las Vegas.
When building their studio, the band and recording engineer Phil Liddiard wanted patchbays that were quiet, had good connectivity and consolidated their connections in an easy and accessible way to maximise workflow. They went to Switchcraft, who supplied several of the Studio Patch series 9625.
StudioPatch series 9625 Bantam/TT patchbays use Switchcraft’s EZ Norm technology, allowing the signal flow of each channel to be instantly modified from the front of the patchbay using a standard screwdriver. Now all StudioPatch series Bantam/TT patchbays feature user-programmable grounds, making it possible to customise each channel’s grounding scheme with the flip of a switch.
