Switchcraft Sealed D-Sub connector

Switchcraft has released the Sealed D-Sub connector, part of the Data Con-X series of harsh-environment connectors. The waterproof D-Sub connectors are IP67 rated and are suitable for any application where connectors are exposed to moisture, dust and dirt such as remote or temporary data control centres, instrumentation for field data collection, medical field data collection, manufacturing control equipment and marine.

The RoHS-compliant connectors are available in solder cup, male and female versions. They have gold-plated contacts and an operating temperature of -55 to +85°C. The D-Sub panel-mount connector comes with two mounting screws and solder cup contacts accept wire ranged from 22-26 AWG. Current rating is 9 A for the standard D-Sub and 2 A for the High Density D-Sub.

Backshell kits are available for cable diameters 3.51-7.01 mm and rear-mounting panel connectors fit into standard D-Sub holes.
