The Omnetics Polarized Nano Series (PZN) has increased the number of available contacts from 12 to 24.

The series is a hermaphroditic connector solution with both male and female contacts within the same insulator arrangement. The connector itself is polarised, eliminating the need for excess weight caused by guide pins or other polarising features.

The 64 mm spacing and MIL quality, gold-plated contacts are said to make the series one of the smallest hi-rel connectors available. The series uses the Omnetics Flex Pin contact system, allowing users the ability to push as much as 1 amp through each contact, making it easy to get from an I/O panel down to an ultra-small PC board footprint.

The series is available in four to 24 position sizes. Termination options include pre-wired, cabled, straight and right-angle through-hole, as well as horizontal and vertical surface mount. Custom harnesses are also available.
