ODU Mini-Snap and AMC high-speed connectors

ODU has expanded the Mini-Snap series and AMC series to include high-speed connectors for Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 and dual USB 2.0 applications for use in harsh environments. The connectors offer high-performance data transmission, high bandwidth transmission and easy handling.

The portfolio of the AMC High-Density includes USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and an HDMI option. In addition to the USB 2.0 version and ethernet designs with transfer rates of 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps, the company also offers a connector that combines USB 2.0 and ethernet transfer. The connection systems in the AMC series are smaller and lighter than MIL housings with RJ45 inserts and are robust, versatile and easy to handle.

The two series provide up to 5000 mating cycles, durability, push-pull or break-away function for maximum safety, watertight protection, optimised colour coding on the AMC series and keyway coding on the Mini-Snap series. They have good shielding properties (360°), an operating temperature range of -51 to +125°C, salt spray resistance, high-speed data transfer capability, high-density signal configurations and tailored versions for power and data transfer in a compact package.
