Also, the report noted that the Asia-Pacific is estimated to account for a share of about 27.9% of the global electronic components market in 2007, and also offer the highest growth potential with the CAGR expected to hover around 12.7% over the period 2001-2010. Europe, the second largest market for electronic components is estimated at $34.5 billion in 2007. The United States represents the largest market for connectors and switches in the world.
