Astro-Med has released the Dash 2EZ+, a handheld, portable data acquisition recorder.
The company has taken its Dash 2EZ two-channel recorder and added more capability. The frequency response has been increased to 8 kHz, the A/D resolution has been increased to 14 bits and the chart speed is now 25 mm/s. Ethernet and USB 2.0 networkability have been added and the user interface has been improved.
Features include: compact handheld design; 5.7" colour touch-screen display; configurable with factory installed voltage and/or bridge modules; record two channels and one TTL event to CompactFlash at sample rates up to 40 kHz per channel; 10/100BaseT ethernet and USB 2.0 interface for transferring data using AstroVIEW X; and built-in 3.1" chart recorder.
The recorder is supplied with a 128 MB CompactFlash card for data acquisition, Dash 2EZ+ operations manual, AC power adapter, mini phone plug for connecting to the event input and an ethernet cross-over cable for data transfer using AstroVIEW X (also included).
