Avalue Technology’s high-performance rackmount servers, HPS-246U4A and HPS-621D4A, are available as L6 barebone or L10 full systems and designed for wide-ranging applications including AI, 5G, IoT, machine learning, edge computing and medical precision computing.
The 4U 19″ rackmount server features a tool-free cover that enables quick and easy maintenance, with a case-open sensor to prevent unauthorised opening. It serves as a building block for all compute-intensive applications and can be converted to a tower workstation with chassis stands installed. The chassis offers three front-accessible 2.5″ storage bays, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and space for a standard Super Multi DVD Rewriter optical drive for storage, data transfer and archiving. These external ports and storage devices can be removed and rotated according to the chassis orientation. A lockable front door provides security when they are not in use.
Suited to HPC applications that require significant CPU and GPU compute performance, the HPS-621D4A incorporates dual 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, plus up to three full-length, double-wide GPU cards and three front-accessible 2.5″ SATA drives. A 1300 W PS2 power supply provides power for all configurations. Multiple network configurations are supported via 4x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports and multiple high-resolution monitors via GPU cards. The RTC battery has high capacity, to avoid onsite battery replacement.
A highly integrated workstation for medical, manufacturing and edge-AI applications, the HPS-246U4A supports Intel 8th and 9th Gen Xeon E processors with low TCO. Up to three 2.5″ SATA drives and one double-wide high-performance GPU card are supported. If a powerful GPU is not required, users can opt for the built-in Intel UHD Processor Graphics that provides low noise, high power efficiency and up to three-monitor support. Seven RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports create a suitable platform for a powerful network router, server applications, smart manufacturing, edge AI or IP camera applications that require ultralow-latency, high-performance processing. IPMI 2.0 Remote Management enables remote accessibility and twice the RTC battery capacity to reduce in-field maintenance.
