Libelium’s Meshlium router connects sensors to the cloud. The product comes in a rugged IP65 enclosure and is a Linux router which works as a gateway for the Waspmote and Plug&Sense! sensor networks.
The router receives sensor data from Waspmote and Plug & Sense! devices and forwards it directly to the internet via suitable radio interface (eg, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, 3G/GPR) protocols depending on the connectivity options available in the area. It is ready to send sensor data to cloud software platforms including MQTT, Axeda, ThingWorx and ESRI. A GPS option is available.
Also available is the Meshlium Xtreme, which allows detection of iPhone/Android devices or any device which works with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth interfaces. The product enables measurement of the amount of people and cars present in a certain point at a specific time, allowing the study of the evolution of the traffic congestion of pedestrians and vehicles.
