Wincomm WTP-8865 all-in-one industrial panel PC series

The WTP-8865 series is Wincomm’s all-in-one industrial panel PC with high-protection enclosure design to achieve high level water and dust resistance and is suitable for harsh and hygienic environments.

For the company’s 15″ Atom-based device has protection upgraded to IP67 (NEMA 6) enclosure and fanless operation.

To achieve IP67, the company has designed the whole enclosure without any exposed ventilation slots, has minimised housing joints and sealed with rubbers/gaskets, glued the touch panel seamlessly to the bezel, used waterproof type I/O connectors and membrane keypad. Marine-grade, corrosion-resistant type 316 stainless steel is used to create a smooth surface housing which can repel dirt, dust and water and makes extensive cleaning easy.

An air-breathing design for heat emission without degrading the enclosure’s IP67 rating is a feature.

Better component placement, better heatsink design have achieved the best heat dissipation for those thermal critical components (ie, CPU, chipset, hard disk drive and system memory), enabling operation without fan to 40°C.

Other features include: touch integration - resistive touch or IR touch panel with toughened glass; Atom N270 1.6 GHz CPU, 533 MHz FSB, one SODIMM socket for 2 GB maximum memory; LCD panel - 15″ 1024 x 768 resolution, 350 nits brightness; 2.5″ SATA HDD with anti-vibration mechanism, PCI and mini-PCI-e expansion; external 80 W universal power adapter, 12 V DC output; watchdog timer AP, support remote device management software (WRDM).
