West Control Solutions Pro-EC44 single- and dual-loop temperature controller

West Control Solutions introduces the Pro-EC44, a user-friendly, single- and dual-loop temperature controller. The product has been designed to simplify user operation through an intuitive HMI combined with easy-to-use configuration and simulation software, Blue Control.

The software allows the controller to be used by a variety of personnel without compromising the functionality available. This includes cascade, valve and ratio enhanced control with support features such as a clock, timer, gain scheduling and profiler option for complete process control. Quick access to important product information is facilitated with a front USB port. This allows extraction of data recordings and transfer of configuration and profile files to/from PC software or direct to another controller.

Features include: standard 1/4 DIN mounting; single, two-loop, cascade or ratio control; graphical/text display (red/green backlit LCD); profiler 255 segments shared by up to 64 programs; USB configuration and data access; Modbus RS485 or Modbus TCP ethernet; up to five PID sets; standards CE and UL.

The controller is suited to challenging applications such as plastics; extrusion and rubber; industrial ovens and furnaces; laboratory and test equipment; environmental chambers; boiler and steam processes; food and beverages; and packaging.
