Turck has announced MK13-222Ex0-R two channel switching amplifiers - compact devices that incorporate 1 NAMUR DIN 19234 sensor, or one dry contact, per input channel and provide one single pole single throw relay per output channel.

Designed for OEMs and end-users with multiple sensors or dry contacts, the newest additions to the multimodul MK series offer better packing density and require only half the space used by standard amplifiers.

Other features include LED indication for 'power on', 'output energised,' and 'fault in input,' and outputs that can be independently set for normally-open or normally-closed. A single switch is used to select the monitoring type for the entire device, and separate DIP switches activate or deactivate monitoring for each channel.

Removable wiring terminals and DIN-rail mounting allow quick and easy replacement without rewiring. Hazardous area circuits that are galvanically isolated from non-hazardous area circuits eliminate the need for external grounding.

Available in 24 VDC, 115 VAC or 230 VAC versions, the amplifiers are FM, cenelec, and CSA approved.
