Slim panel PCs

Interworld has released the APC-3x16 series all-in-one fanless panel PCs that are sealed to NEMA 4/IP65 specifications on five sides to provide protection from dust and liquid contaminants.

The series uses Pentium M 1.5 GHz or Celeron 1.0 GHz combined with a flat panel high-brightness LCD screen and is housed in a slim black steel enclosure.

Modules include: the 3516 supplied with a 15" 450 cd/m² 1024 x 768 resolution LCD; the 3716 supplied with a 17" LCD; and the 3916 supplied with a 19" LCD screen. Both the 17 and 19" LCDs provide 300 cd/m² luminance and support resolutions up to 1280 x 1024.

All models support 1 GB of 200/266/333 MHz DDR SDRAM, have an internal 2.5" hard drive, an internal CompactFlash drive and provide a PCI slot for system expansion. Rear panel I/O includes three com ports, four USB 2.0 ports, 2 GbE LAN ports, one external VGA and audio I/O.

Optional analog resistive touch screens and CD-ROM mounting kits can also be fitted.

The series is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 °C with a non-condensing relative humidity of 5 to 90% at 40 °C. The series can be panel mounted or VESA 75 mounted on a range of commercially available arms and brackets.

The device requires 16 to 28 VDC and can be powered from an appropriate AC to DC supply.
