POD-6704 single board computer

Advantech has released the POD-6704 its single board computer.

It offers four ethernet ports, making it suitable for network security applications such as firewalls, security systems, intrusion detection etc.

With onboard RJ45 connectors, the device features Pentium III support up to 1.26 GHz.

Delivering high bandwidth communication technologies from the Intel 815E chipset, it is suitable for larger texture 3D images and advanced applications. In addition to this, the 815E architecture, with FSB up to 133 MHz, features direct pipelines for audio and video data.

A selection of three different LAN controllers is available. It is easy to change the processing power and memory size without redesigning the I/O circuitry.
