Sharp’s latest LCD TV, the LC-70UD1X, boasts a Real Ultra High Definition (3840 x 2160) panel with high-speed LCD and a built-in, high-quality converter to upscale from Full HD to 4K Ultra HD, producing four times the detail and clarity of a full HD TV. Picture quality is further enhanced with Edge LED backlighting and AquoMotion UHD - technology to reduce motion blur and clear images even during fast-motion scenes.

Sharp’s Duo BASS technology incorporates two subwoofers into a sleek, streamlined front bezel. Teamed with 3D and 2D surround sound, the product produces a crisp, clear audio experience. The internet-ready device comes with a Flash-enabled web browser, while a tablet or mobile device can be connected via the MHL function. Meanwhile, the USB-REC function directly records from digital broadcast and replays content via a USB HDD.

The product comes with two sets of 3D glasses and a wireless LAN adapter and measures 1578 x 996 x 374 mm with a stand, 1578 x 950 x 114 mm without a stand; and weighs 55 kg with a stand and 47.5 kg without a stand. It has passed THX certification.
