Richardson RFPD MAPS-010146/MAPS-010166 digital phase shifter range
Richardson RFPD has released two additions to the family of GaAs pHEMT digital phase shifters from M/A-COM Technology Solutions.
The MAPS-010146 and MAPS-010166 are four- and six-bit packaged devices that maintain low phase errors and minimal attenuation variation over the full 360-degrees and 8-12 GHz frequency range.
Both devices feature a built-in CMOS driver in a 4 mm, 24-lead PQFN surface mount package that allows for serial or parallel control and low power consumption. Both devices operate using positive and negative voltage supply.
The devices are targeted for communication antennas and phased array radar applications, making them candidates for commercial weather radar applications and military ground-based, distance-measuring radar applications.
Features of the four-bit MAPS 010146 digital phase shifter include: 8-12 GHz frequency range; 6.5 dB insertion loss (any phase state); 360° coverage with LSB = 22.5°; integrated CMOS driver; serial or parallel control; low DC power consumption; minimal (+/- 1.0 dB) attenuation variation over phase-shift range; 50 Ω impedance; EAR99; lead-free 4 mm, 24-lead PQFN package; and RoHS compliant.
Features of the six-bit MAPS-010166 device include: 8-12 GHz frequency range; 6.5 dB insertion loss (any phase state); 360° coverage with LSB = 5.6°; integrated CMOS driver; serial or parallel control; low DC power consumption; minimal (+/- 1.2 dB) attenuation variation over phase-shift range; 50 Ω impedance; EAR99; lead-free, 4 mm 24-lead PQFN package; and RoHS compliant.
