Neousys Technology has announced its ultracompact fanless embedded computer, the POC-400 series, designed to suit space-conscious applications without compromising performance or scalability. Powered by the Intel 10 nm Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E, the computer offers 1.8 times the CPU performance and double the GPU performance of its previous generation. The ultracompact design measures just 56 x 108 x 153 mm, making it suitable for applications that require installation into confined spaces while still providing sufficient computing power.

The product has an abundance of front-accessible I/Os and features a DIN rail mounting design. It also comes with 3x 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3 PoE+ capability. The PoE+ ports offer high data bandwidth for devices such as NBASE-T cameras and are backwards-compatible with 1000/100/10 Mbps Ethernet. Other features include 2x 4K DisplayPort, 2x USB3.1 Gen1, 2x USB 2.0 and COM ports for general industrial applications.

The product provides flexible expansion capability via Neousys’s MezIO interface. Users can expand functions like isolated DIO, RS-232/422/485, USB 3.1 Gen1, ignition control, storage and 4G/5G. Moreover, the unit comes with an internal M.2 E key socket for a Google TPU or an Intel Movidius VPU module to transform it into a lightweight AI edge inference platform. In addition to wide operating temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C and wide DC input from 8 to 35 V, the powerful ultracompact computer is suitable for various industrial applications in harsh environments.
