MOXA EDS-210A series 10-port industrial unmanaged switches

The MOXA EDS-210A series 10-port industrial unmanaged switches deliver gigabit speed and multiple fibre connections for small-scale and widely distributed edge applications, such as factory floor automation and IP surveillance uplinks for ITS networking.

The switches offer two types of port combinations for flexible network connectivity. The EDS-210A-1GTX-1GSFP-4SFP supports up to 2 Gb uplinks (combination of 1 Gb fibre and 1 Gb copper ports), 4 x 100BaseSFP, and 4 x 100BaseTX ports. The EDS-210A-1GSFP-1SFP consists of 1 Gb copper, 1 x 100Base fibre and 8 x 100Base copper ports.

The series is suitable for high-speed industrial applications that require flexible fibre/copper port combinations, such as ITS surveillance systems that require gigabit ports for uplink to control rooms, and fast ethernet ports for edge-level connectivity, such as IP cameras and field devices. The flexible connectivity options are also suitable for factory automation networks that require data transmission using a mix of fibre and copper media.

For industrial-grade reliability, the switches provide 12/24/48 VDC redundant dual power input, high-level EMI/EMC shielding, and two operating temperature range options: -10 to 60°C and -40 to 75°C. Power and port-status LED displays on the front panel allow quick troubleshooting to reduce system downtime. The cost-efficient EDS-210A series switches can be easily installed on any DIN rail or distribution box in harsh industrial environments.
