Backplane has introduced iBase’s MI933 AMD M690E-based Mini-ITX motherboard.
Powered by the AMD 200U and 210U Sempron BGA processors running at 1.0 and 1.5 GHz, the MI933 long-life Mini-ITX board is suited to applications with thermal and power restrictions in the medical imaging, data communications, industrial control, transport and entertainment sectors.
The M690E chipset integrates an ATi Radeon X1200 graphics engine that supports dual display with the MI933’s dual DVI edge connectors and operates at core speeds of up to 667 MHz.
A memory socket onboard can accept up to 2 GB of DDR2 DIMM modules. Instead of ATX power, the MI933 is equipped with a 12 VDC input socket for AC adapters.
Connectivity and storage features include two PCI-E gigabit ethernet, two SATA2 ports, two COM (RS485 on one), eight USB 2.0, 7.1 channel sound and a PCI interface that is expandable to two PCI slots with an optional riser card.
The 1 GHz CPU operates at 8 W and the 1.5 GHz CPU at 15 W.
