The 256 and 257 Series MR16 and MR11 LED bulb replacements have been developed to directly replace MR16 and MR11bulbs, incorporating the latest LED technology for accent and general lighting applications.

Due to the reduced power consumption and long operating life (50,000 h) these Marl LED lamps are said to provide energy cost savings of up to 80% compared to standard dichroic equivalents. This allows a short payback period of less than one year when operated for 18 -24 hours per day.

The 256 Series MR16 LED lamp, based on CREE(r) LED technology, has been developed to interface with all standard MR16 sockets, allowing direct replacement, and produces light levels suitable for replacing conventional halogen lamps up to 35 W. Warm and cool white versions are
available.

The modules are suitable as fit and forget, maintenance-free replacements for all MR16 type fittings and have the advantage of emitting zero UV or IR in the light beam, have no moving parts, fragile glass, mercury, toxic gasses and no filament.

The 257 Series MR11 LED modules have been developed to interface with standard MR11 sockets*, allowing direct replacement. Two versions are available: an all-purpose lamp which produces a light output equivalent to a 20 W halogen lightbulb and a reading lamp with light output equivalent to a 1 0W halogen lightbulb.

* The all-purpose lamp is 10 mm deeper than a conventional MR11 halogen lightbulb whereas the reading lamp has an identical footprint for applications where space is limited.

Both the 256 and 257 Series are suitable for architectural, rail, commercial and retail applications.
