Constant current is required to drive LEDs reliably and Recom has released the RCD-24-x.xx series with various outputs.

The family offers outputs of 300, 350, 500, 600 and 700 mA, which can also be adjusted using the analog dim-function.

Simultaneously, the PWM — dim-function that operates at a frequency range of 20 to 200 Hz and the dimming can also be adjusted from 0 to 100%.

The buck converters feature an input range of 4.5 to 36 V. There is also a standby function for battery-operated applications. The rated accuracy of the output current is ±2% and variations due to the input voltage range are ±1%.
