Kontron CompactPCI single board computer CP3003-V

The Kontron CP3003-V is the latest extension to the CompactPCI Value Line Series. The PICMG 2.0 compatible Kontron CP3003-V comes with the Intel Celeron processor 807UE.

Kontron’s V (Value Line) boards offer a cost-optimised solution that makes them suitable for price-sensitive industrial applications, such as machine and factory control, visualisation or inspection systems.

The Kontron CP3003-V includes a 1.0 GHz Intel Celeron processor 807UE in combination with the Intel Platform Controller Hub QM77. A Smart Cache of 1 MB and up to 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM memory with up to 1333 MHz provide high data throughput. The CompactPCI CPU board comes as a double-slot version (8 HP) that offers a comprehensive set of interfaces such as 1x VGA, 2x DisplayPort, 1x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 3x gigabit ethernet ports and a serial port on the front panel plus the option to hold a CFast module or up to 2x 2.5 HDD/SSD on board.

It also provides a PCI 32-bit, 33 MHz CompactPCI interface supporting the PCI passive mode feature. When installed in a system master slot, the CompactPCI interface is enabled, whereas the interface will be isolated when installed in a peripheral slot.

The CP3003-V runs with Linux, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Embedded Standard 7. Highly integrated board support packages support all onboard hardware devices.
