Innodisk’s EGPL-T101 M.2 2280 10 GbE LAN module, designed in the M.2 form factor, features flexible integration and compatibility with existing network infrastructure. It is claimed to be the first M.2 2280-to-single 10 GbE Base-T Ethernet module and the smallest 10 GbE expansion solution currently available. By supporting PCI Express Gen 3x2, the module can provide sufficient bandwidth for one 10 GbE LAN port suitable for server and industrial applications’ high-speed network demands.

As a high-speed LAN solution, the module features flexible integration. Its standard RJ45 LAN port on a tiny daughterboard provides an easy solution for upgrading to a 10 GbE network using existing Cat6/6A copper cables. Its six network standards are supported in 10/5/2.5/1 Gbps and 100/10 Mbps, providing backward compatibility with existing network infrastructure. It also features high-performance computing (HPC) said to be 10 times faster than the widely used Gigabit Ethernet, with low power consumption.

The product is suitable for various high-speed scenarios, including machine vision in industrial applications, high-throughput network data transmission, high-resolution imaging for surveillance and low latency for gaming.
