IDM PT5MA potentiometric cable-extension transducer
The PT5MA potentiometric cable-extension transducer uses a thermoplastic cable that has virtually an infinite fatigue life. This cable, known as V62, has properties that are suitable for high-cycle and rugged applications.
The transducer installs in minutes, functions without perfect parallel alignment and fits easily into small areas. It has additional installation flexibility since its cable exit can be rotated relative to the mounting surface, providing four different cable exit orientations.
The PT5 series is part of the company’s industrial range of cable-extension transducers for high acceleration and high-cycle applications such as die-casting, injection moulding or crash testing.
