Axiomtek GOT812LR-832 sunlight-readable touch panel PC

Axiomtek has announced GOT812LR-832, its heavy-duty, 12.1″ fanless touch panel computer. Designed to meet the challenges of outdoor operations including the impact of high ambient lighting, the product offers a 1000-nits, high-brightness and low-reflective LCD touch screen for good display quality.

The rugged touch panel PC is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and operate effortlessly under a wide temperature range of -20 to +55°C. The human machine interface (HMI) uses the low-power Intel Atom processor N2600 1.6 GHz and Intel NM10 Express chipset; a combination that is said to deliver good performance per watt. The product is designed and tested according to IEC60945 and DNV 2.4 standards. It is suitable for marine, food factories, steel mills, gas pumps, outdoor information kiosks and point-of-sale terminals.

The product offers an IP66-rated, water/dustproof stainless steel enclosure. Its features include six IP66-rated connectors and corrosion-resistant stainless steel (type 316) front bezel, designed to protect the unit from all natural, outdoor damaging conditions. The industrial-grade touch panel PC is 2.3″ thick and weighs 4.51 kg. Its compact size allows for easy installation and space saving.

The heavy-duty touch panel computer offers a PCI Express mini card slot and a built-in WLAN antenna for wireless network connectivity. By plugging in the WLAN mini card, users can have instant access to wireless LAN/GPRS/GSM/3G/4G/LTE. The unit is designed and tested according to IEC60945 and DNV 2.4 standards. 

The product supports one DDR3 SO-DIMM slot with up to 2 GB memory and features one 2.5″ SSD, one CompactFlash socket and PCI Express mini card. It offers a variety of M12 type I/O connections including one RS232/422/485, one RS232, one gigabit ethernet and two USB 2.0 ports as well as DC-in power connector. For flexible installation, the unit can be VESA mounted and suspension mounted.
