The Avalue Technology EMS-SKLU expandable rugged embedded system is equipped with 6th generation Intel Core processors for demanding applications.

The processor offers lower power consumption and better system performance than last generation. The TDP is only 15 W and 26–37 W while the computer is running on full power. The platform delivers 80% (max) lower CPU power consumption.

The Intel HD Graphics 520 graphic engine supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 4.4 and OpenCL 2.0 APIs. The product provides good system performance, multimedia effects and data processing capability. This unit itself supports 260-pin DDR4, up to 16 GB (2133 MHz) and 2.5 swappable SATAIII HDD. Two COM and four USB 3.0 ports are provided for general device connection. Mini PCIe, 12-bit GPIO connector and SMBus are available for industrial applications.

Features include system memory of one 260-pin SODIMM socket up to 16 GB DDR4 2133 MHz SDRAM; expansion of 1 x Avalue 80-Pin IET interface, 1 x Mini-PCIe socket, 1 x M.2 (B-Key, 2242, 3042); I/O: 4 x USB 3.0 (two at front, two at rear), 2 x SIM slots, 2 LAN, 1 12-bit GPIO, 2 COM; one display port; operation temperature of -20 to 60°C; power input: 9 to 32 V; certificates CE, FCC Class A, IP50 rating; and operation system Win 10, Win 8, Win 7 and Linux.
