Avalue EMS-SKLU-Marine box PC

Avalue Technology has released the EMS-SKLU-Marine, an IEC EN60945 marine-certified embedded box PC, for maritime applications such as control or engine rooms, IBS (Integrated Bridge System), propulsion control or safety systems and boat entertainment systems.

The PC is powered by the latest 6th generation Intel Core i7-6600U Ultra Low TDP processor, which delivers a full range of I/O connectivity, including six serial ports (four ports support 2.5 kV isolated protection), two Gigabit Ethernet ports and six USB ports (four support USB 3.0, two support USB 2.0). It is designed to provide good system performance, making it suitable for marine applications.

The product is IEC EN60945 certified and follows marine standards. It can operate continuously under critical conditions due to features including anti-shock, anti-vibration, a wide operation temperature and a wide power input. Its IEC EN60945 certification ensures a functional system under high humidity and strong sunshine, as well as resistance against oil and corrosion.

The product has a slim and compact design, making it suitable for space-saving applications on ships or boats. Its aluminium extrusion and heavy-duty steel chassis provide strong and solid construction for system protection. To increase the stability and durability, the system has fanless operation and is able to function under harsh temperature conditions from -20 to 60°C.
