Argon Corporation ARD27 rugged display monitor

Argon Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) rugged display monitors and computers, has released the ARD27 rugged display. The display monitor has successfully passed airborne qualification testing parameters, including environmental, EMI and safety and abuse testing, regarding airborne C4ISR applications.

The product is a low-profile (63 x 38 x 6.6 cm), high-resolution unit at 2560 x 1440 (WQHD). It is compatible with just about any video input required on the market today, according to the company, including DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI and traditional VGA.

The standard unit conforms with MIL-STD-704A, with 50 ms holdup. Users can select from a variety of standard options or have the unit tailored to their specific application or installation requirements. It is suitable for both retrofits and new installations.
