Friday, 27 May, 2016 | Supplied by: Wireless Components

Anaren has released a selection of devices for RF energy applications, utilising the emerging technology that uses an all solid-state semiconductor chain to generate RF power for heating and processing.

The Anaren RF energy family of products enables multiple architectures and allows end users to have a tailor-made solution for their application. They include the XEC24P3-30G Pico-sized, 300 W, 30 dB directional coupler; the XEC24E3-03G E-sized, 300 W, 3 dB/90° hybrid coupler; the XEC24A6-03G A-sized, 600 W, 3 dB/° hybrid coupler; and the G300N50W4 300 W, 50Ω flange-mount termination.

Emerging global RF energy applications focus on the 2.4 GHz market and range from industrial, scientific and medical applications like drying textiles or paper pulp and non-invasive medical treatments and imaging, to consumer microwave ovens and automotive spark ignition applications.
