Alta Data Technologies MPCIE-1553 mini PCI Express COTS card
Alta Data Technologies’ MPCIE-1553 is a mini PCI Express full mini type 2 interface off the shelf (COTS) card for MIL-STD 1553 networks. Coupled with AltaAPI, the MPCIE-1553 represents the latest MIL-STD-1553 32-bit FPGA protocol engine technology with multilayer software.
The MPCIE-1553’s interface module is a single-channel, dual-redundant 1553 card supported by the latest software technologies.
The cards are based on the AltaCore 32-bit 1553 FPGA protocol engine and a feature-rich application programming interface, AltaAPI, which is a multilayer ANSI C and Windows .NET 2.0 (MSVS 2005 C++, C#, VB .NET) architecture. This hardware and software package helps provide increased system performance and reduced integration time.
The card’s BC capability, including variable message framing/subframing with transmission scheduling provides advanced BC control operations. RT, monitor, playback and signal generator functions also include functions to meet demanding requirements.
AltaCore is guaranteed 1553B Notice II & IV compliant and all cards are manufactured to the highest IPC-Level 3 standards and ISO 9001: 2008 processes. Cards are available in dual-function (BC/Mon or multiRT/Monitor) or full-function (BC, mRT and Mon) configurations. Playback and signal generation are part of BC operations and waveform capture is for monitor-only operation.
