Mini-Circuits’ GVA-123+ monolithic amplifier covers an ultrawide frequency range of 0.01 to 12 GHz. The product supports a wide range of applications, including LTE, WiMAX, satellite communications, X-band radar, point-to-point radio and avionics systems.

Using InGaP HBT technology, the amplifier provides good repeatability and consistent performance over wide frequency bands, with 16.9 dB gain and ±0.7 dB gain flatness from 0.05 to 8 GHz. It provides 13 dB typical output power at 1 dB compression, +24 dBm IP3 and 4.7 dB noise figure. Good input and output return losses over its frequency range (both 20 dB typical at 2 GHz) avoid the need for external matching components, simplifying circuit design and reducing system cost.

The amplifier operates on a single +5 V, 52 mA supply and is supplied housed in a tiny SOT-89 package (0.09 x 0.17 x 0.06″).
