IEI Technology has released its light-industrial, wall-mounted 7″ RISC-based panel PC, the IOVU-07F-AD, powered by energy-efficient Freescale Quad-core processors with Android 4.2 operation systems. The product has a stylish, lightweight and high-quality performance with low power consumption to cover a wide range of applications such as hospitality services, home VoIP, hotel room service, home and building automation, retail management and order management.

The device offers a wide range of wireless communication technologies, such as Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0, that allows mobile service providers to stay seamlessly connected. With regard to data capturing functions, it features 10/100/1000 base Ethernet support, 4DI/4DO, 1x RS232/RS485, 1x CANbus and a front-facing 2 MP CMOS camera, which provides different real-time data-collection methods.

The panel, with RS232/RS485, CANbus and Android turnkey ready, provides a solid HMI solution at an industrial level. It features an LED backlight colour active matrix TFT and a projected capacitive touch screen.
