iEi’s S24M marine-grade monitor is equipped with an IP66-compliant front panel and an IP22-compliant rear cover. The sophisticated LCD monitor is designed with one BNC, two VGA and two DVI inputs. It provides multiple ways to connect with computers, with the VGA and BNC outputs allowing simultaneous display on other monitors for increased functionality.
The flat bezel monitor has a wide operating temperature range of -15 to 55°C, ensuring the monitor will be suitable for most marine environments including bridge, open deck, machinery spaces and control rooms. Isolated redundant power is implemented so there are separate power inputs available, including AC and DC sources. When the AC source is terminated, the DC source will continue to supply power to the device.
It is essential to show the same displays to captains and pilots through the monitors which are usually cascaded at the ship bridge. The projected capacitive touchscreen monitor equips both VGA input and VGA output. By connecting the VGA-out of the first monitor to the VGA-in of the second monitor, the marine monitors feature group display with a maximum of 16 screens in the group.
