IEI Technology’s mobile sales assistant, the ICECARE-10W, is a 10″ tablet PC powered by an Intel Celeron 1007U Dual Core 1.5 GHz processor with 4 GB onboard DDR3 memory. The product is equipped with a 1D or 2D barcode reader, an HF RFID reader, a smart card reader and a magnetic stripe card reader. To meet tough field environments, it has been designed with IP54-rated front panel protection rating and 1.2 m drop survival.
The unit features a capacitive touch screen (optional IPS + PCT Gorilla) and 2x USB 2.0, 1x micro HDMI, RFID, 1D/2D imager scan engine (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth V3.0, built-in speakers, microphone and a battery. It can be customised to suit various applications including retail store management, hotel registration management, restaurant table order management, fast food drive-through management and healthcare patient management.
The product is powered by Windows Embedded Standard 7 with optional Windows Embedded 8 Standard.
