IEI IBX-300 fanless dual core box

IEI has released the IBX-300 fanless dual core box for digital security and surveillance applications.

It is a compact 160 x 125 x 44 mm size making it suitable for those who require a fanless and ready-to-use embedded system, but have limited space. This system is designed with the Atom processor D510 with 1 MB of cache and is paired with the Intel 82801HM I/O controller. 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM system memory and 1x 2.5″ SATA HDD interface are included.

The Atom processor D510 features 2x DB-9 connectors to support a total of 8x video capture channels. This comprises an 8-channel analog video capture (4-channel video capture for each DB-9 connector), the Conexant CX25850 multiport composite video decoder (eight inputs) and a CX25821 (PCIe x1) media bridge.

The box is features the Intel 82567V GbE Phy and 1x PCIe interface for ethernet connectivity. Multi-communication capability is achieved through 1x PCIe signal via the 82801HM I/O controller, a LAN signal via the 82567V GbE Phy and LAN via standard RJ45 with ACK/LINK LED connector on rear side.

For video and audio communication, the IBX-300 has the onboard Intel GMA 3150 (400 MHz), 1x built-in VGA, 1x RS232/422/485 COM port, 4x USB connectors, 2x audio jack connectors (line-out and MIC-in) and Wi-Fi support. It also supports analog CRT up to 2048x1536 and hot plugs.
