ICP DAS ISaGRAF PAC application for event data delivery

ICP DAS has released an application about how to deliver event data via UDP/TCP communication by ISaGRAF PAC to remote in sequence.

In industrial control systems, some applications deliver event data one by one, in sequence, to one or several remote PCs or PACs. The ISaGRAF PAC supports UDP and TCP for such applications. If an application requires more safety than the UP mechanism, some ISaGRAF PAC-supported TCP are fitting to deliver event data to remote PC.

The ISaGRAF PAC supports Modbus RTU protocol, which controls the remote tM-Series and LC-Series I/O modules through an RS485 serial bus. The tM-Series tiny RS485 I/O modules support various I/O types, like photo-isolated digital input, relay contact, photoMOS relay, and open-collector output, etc. The LC-Series I/O modules are lighting control modules.

The ISaGRAF WinCE PAC Series supports 3G and 2G wireless communication and can deliver the application data to a distant PC or workstation which has a Modbus TCP server or ftp server running inside.
