Quake Q-Puck Iridium modem with integrated antenna

The Q-Puck comprises an Iridium modem embedded with an Iridium antenna in a single IP-rated package with serial/power. The product is fully Iridium-qualified and enables easy connection to Iridium’s SBD satellite network from an existing application with the minimum of hardware development.

An efficient out-of-the box satellite solution, the device is easy to install and integrate. It significantly reduces the development time and costs of adding satellite to an application by offering satellite connectivity cheaply and quickly.

The product is designed to operate in harsh environments and allows developers and integrators to extend their reach beyond cellular coverage, making it suitable for remote asset tracking and monitoring solutions.

The product is available as a screw-mount model with 25 cm pig-tail cable and optional extension cables. A magnetic-mount model with cable length included will launch later in 2013.
