The SOM-5899 is a COM Express Type 6 Module designed with an 8th and 9th Gen Intel Core H-series processor. It provides a variety of scalable options for different power consumption and performance requirements. With its full spectrum SKUs and 2- to 6-core processors offering 25 to 45 W thermal design power, users can easily find the target SKU to fulfil system design specifications.

Featuring a dual-channel 96 GB ECC and non-ECC DDR4 memory design, the SOM-5899 is designed to increase memory capacity and bandwidth to enhance data transmission ability. Furthermore, it provides multiple high-speed I/O: three ports with independent 4K displays, four ports with USB3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) and four ports with SATA Gen3.

The device supports three independent displays, which includes various interfaces: VGA, LVDS for legacy applications and three DDI ports that are configurable as HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort, for enriched visual and image focus. With its multiple I/O design, it is suitable for a variety of applications across fields such as medical, servers, gaming and more.
