Advantech PPC-8150 and PPC-8170 15″ and 17″ configure-to-order panel PCs
To give users flexibility in their choice of product and to adjust their designs based on their requirements, Advantech is launching the PPC-8150 and PPC-8170 15″ and 17″ panel PCs.
The company’s configure-to-order-service (CTOS) enables users to build the best solution for their business by selecting such items as the motherboard, memory, hard drive, power supply and other items.
CTOS promises fast delivery, since all of the components have already been designed to work with each other so there’s no waiting for engineers to test the specific configuration. Ease of maintenance ensures that in the event of difficulty, solutions are provided quickly. By choosing the components that suit them, only the required components are delivered and there are no wasted features.
The series of 15″ and 17″ panel PCs feature eco-friendly LED backlights, lifetimes of up to 50,000 h and resolutions of 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024. With IP65 certified 5-wire resistive touch panels, the PPC-8000 series ensures that the monitors can withstand harsh environments.
At the back of the PPC-8000 series are 100-240 VAC and 12-30 VDC power inputs which cover most industrial requirements. The series is expandable and they are equipped with optional 4 x COM ports and 1 x PCIe expansion slot, so users can allocate the I/O ports according to their demand.
With their mini-iTX motherboards, the models have a modular design which allows them to be modified quickly using Advantech’s CTOS. There are three motherboards available: the AIMB-224, the AIMB-273 and the AIMB-274.
