RS Components has launched its new website and catalogue.
It has an upgraded search and navigation engine powered by Endeca. Through a search engine and product information, the website enables designers and maintenance engineers to quickly research, select and order products online.
New products and technologies are introduced daily.
Users can access multiple suppliers’ products from a single place. They can then compare and order.
Six key attributes, including manufacturers’ brands, are displayed on the ‘search results’ page from which users can apply new filters to their search criteria. Users can then use up to five additional attributes from the results table to compare products.
The company has also launched its catalogue in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan).
Products have been reorganised into eight super-sections such as semiconductors, connectors, mechanical, tools and tools storage.
With 65,000 products featured in the catalogue and more than 200,000 products online, the catalogue and website make it easier for users to find a particular component.
