Synnex partners with Advantech on end-to-end IoT solutions

Advantech, an IoT hardware and software company, has partnered with ICT distributor Synnex Australia to provide customers with complete solutions while embracing the business opportunities of the IoT.

Advantech will be providing industrial hardware and software solutions to Synnex across various sectors, such as embedded computing and data hosting infrastructure. Advantech’s expertise in industrial hardware and software solutions, combined with Synnex’s wide network, is expected to allow for comprehensive solutions to reach the market faster and with higher quality.

“This partnership will focus on industries like transport, security, retail, hospitality and more to provide increasingly robust solutions to customers while growing the Advantech ecosystem,” said Damian Trubiano, country manager at Advantech Australia. “Collaboration is key with a complex concept like IoT, and this partnership will help simplify the process for both Synnex and Advantech.”

As channel partners, Synnex and Advantech will look to break down the barriers of density in IoT and allow customers to access components or entire solutions to align them to their interests. While Synnex is the marketplace, Advantech will be the supplier of high-quality, high-performance hardware and software solutions.

“It is necessary for the industry to collaborate due to the characteristic complexity of IoT solutions,” said Kee Ong, CEO Synnex Australia and New Zealand, pointing out that the IoT is not simply a product that can be bought, but rather a network of concepts and communications that is constantly evolving.

“Synnex is positioned to break down this intricacy by offering our partners solutions that address the entire IoT ecosystem rather than providing standalone components. The partnership with Advantech means that our partners will now have access to more IoT components to service a range of markets.”
