Nine emerging technologies, one event

The IDTechEx Show!, to be held from 10–11 May in Berlin, Germany, presents the latest emerging technologies at one event. The show will comprise nine concurrent conference tracks and a single exhibition covering 3D printing, electric vehicles, energy harvesting, energy storage, graphene, the Internet of Things, printed electronics, sensors and wearable technology.

At 3D Printing Europe, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the state of the art in 3D printing, including its convergence with printed electronics and other functionalities. End users across a range of application areas will report on their experiences and requirements and the latest technological advances will be presented.

Energy Harvesting Europe will address the exciting new progress of extracting energy from heat, light, motion, biology, RF and other means to power small devices to vehicles. Focusing on uses, potential users and market forecasts, as well as giving the latest technology trends, the event will serve as a meeting place for users, investors, suppliers, developers, system integrators and government representatives.

Energy Storage Innovations Europe focuses on future energy storage solutions, including advanced- and post-lithium-ion technologies, new form factors and emerging applications. The event brings together different players in the value chain, from material and technology developers to integrators and end users, providing insight on forthcoming technologies, material selection, market trends and the latest products.

Electric Vehicles: Everything is Changing will showcase the advances made and planned by researchers and vehicle makers for land, water and air vehicles. This year the event will showcase the big new move to integration in place of components-in-a-box. It will cover in-mould electronics, electronic 3D printing and smart skin, as well as new systems such as sensor fusion, multiple energy harvesting, in-wheel systems and fast inductive charging.

Graphene & 2D Materials Europe will cover all promising applications of graphene, including graphene composites, supercapacitors and batteries, functional inks, logic and memory, touch screens, sensors and bioelectronics and beyond. The audience will develop a comprehensive yet detailed understanding of the state of technology and market per graphene application area.

Internet of Things Applications Europe addresses the opportunities surrounding the Internet of Things, featuring business models, case studies, actions, profitability and missing gaps. It covers case studies within key market verticals and appraises the new enabling technologies. The event will help attendees assess their business strategies, technical, consumer and governmental challenges, new business models and opportunities.

Wearable Europe focuses on wearable technologies, applications and their commercialisation progress. Sensors Europe will be dedicated to the commercialisation of disruptive sensor technologies. With a program selected by analysts and industry experts, the conference and trade show gives attendees the opportunity to find the technologies and business partners to create the most innovative products.

Printed Electronics Europe focuses on the commercialisation of printed electronics, covering broadly organic, inorganic, thin film and flexible nanotechnologies. Some of the world’s largest end-user companies will present on their needs and experience with printed electronics, with many in attendance to learn how they can use these new technologies in their products.
