National Manufacturing Week releases demonstration program

Friday, 22 April, 2016

National Manufacturing Week (NMW) 2016, to be held from 11–13 May at Sydney Showground, will give attendees the opportunity to see innovative manufacturing solutions in action. This year’s demonstration program will feature robotics, safety, cleaning, welding and riveting solutions to give visitors a first-hand experience of how new technologies can work for their businesses.

Program highlights include:

Wednesday 11 May

  • Multicam Systems, Stand 1820 — showing how Multicam CNC routing machines can solve your CNC machine requirements.
  • OMAX, Stand 1026 — demonstrating precision waterjet systems that cut virtually any material without any heat-affected zone.
  • Kemppi Australia, Stand 1226 — welding with the Pulse Mig welding package, with performance monitoring via the KAS3 online welding management system.
  • Konica Minolta, Stand 1402 — demonstrating 3D printing solutions that help create working prototypes, parts and products in a fraction of the time currently required.

Thursday 12 May

  • ATOM Vending Machines, Stand 2030 — dispensing safety and industrial products, with reporting software that allows customers to track their inventory.
  • Impact Robotics, Stand 1010 — introducing Sawyer, a collaborative robot that can be programmed by just about anyone and doesn’t need to be caged.
  • Cryonomic Australia, Stand 2126 — demonstrating dry ice cleaning as a fast, efficient way to clean equipment in place.
  • Innovative Welding, Stand 1330 — demonstrating of K-TIG, a welding process said to revolutionise the welding industry.
  • Autofast, Stand 2416 — demonstrating the AutoFast Auto-Feed Riveting System that can set rivet-speed records with a time of one rivet per second.

Friday 13 May

  • Ensitech, Stand 1430 — showcasing its easy-to-use and portable TIG Brush Stainless Steel Weld Cleaning System, delivering good weld cleaning and passivation.

The event will showcase hundreds of products and services that help boost manufacturing innovation, productivity and capabilities, alongside a topical conference program in which manufacturing and other leaders will share case studies and strategies for growth and success. It will be co-located with Inside 3D Printing, the Sydney edition of the professional 3D printing event, as well as the Safety First Conference & Expo.
