Lithium batteries conference coming to Sydney
The 2nd Lithium Batteries Conference will be held from 24–25 September at the Novotel Sydney Darling Square.
Presented by IDC Technologies, the aim of this conference is to explore the future of lithium battery technology in Australia, including industry issues and emerging applications. There will be particular focus on the upcoming battery storage standard AS/NZS 5139 ‘Electrical installations – Safety of battery systems for use with power conversion equipment’, with attendees in the position to fast-track their knowledge of this new standard.
Other areas of focus will include lithium battery design, installation, manufacturing, chemistry, energy storage, electrical vehicles, charging stations and hybrid applications. The event will also explore recent research developments and how these can be applied in the real world to benefit industry and the Australian consumer.
