TE Connectivity HXCT heat-shrinkable tubing

Friday, 29 July, 2011 | Supplied by: Soanar Limited

TE Connectivity has launched a low fire hazard, heat-shrinkable continuous identification tubing for industrial, rail and mass transit, aerospace and defence, as well as marine applications.

HXCT tubing is flattened, providing good print quality for crisp clear wire and cable harness identification. The tubing is supplied on continuous 50 or 100 m spools.

Sleeves can be printed at a typical speed of 75 mm per second. There is a flexibility to either cut or perforate the sleeve, with the latter saving manual cutting.

It can also be used for applications where limited fire hazard characteristics are necessary. The zero halogen material coupled with low smoke and low toxic fume emissions makes this product best used in enclosed spaces.
