Soldering station

The new WD1000 Soldering Station from Weller, is now available in Farnell InOne's Select 32 Magazine (valid from June 1st to July 31st).

About the WD1000

The microprocessor controlled power unit utilises the existing WSP80, 80 watt lead free soldering pencil, although the unit will also operate a wide range of other Weller tools including the WMP soldering pencil, preheat plater and desoldering tweezers. As with other Weller Electronic Stations, the WD1000 is ESD safe to protect sensitive electronic components from damage due to static discharge.

The unit comes with a 4-stage adjustable stand, large readout screen and three preset buttons. These three buttons can be used to preset temperatures. Customer designed calibration function, programmable temperature decreases (setback), interlock function and remote ID for ISO applications can all be set from the power unit without the need for optional programming accessories.

The functional diversity of this unit can be extended with the inclusion of a standard USB interface for connection to your PC/Laptop for calibration, configuration and precise measure values.
