Tuesday, 20 October, 2009 | Supplied by: M Rutty & Co Pty Ltd

M Rutty has released a range of high-power terminal blocks and connectors enabling high current inputs and outputs to be connected to a printed circuit board.

The blocks are supplied in either modular interlocking versions or solid blocks of up to eight poles and are available in a wide range of pitches, wire entry sizes up to 35 mm2 and current rating up to 125 A.

There are also versions available with side flanges that allow the block to be screwed to the PCB for additional mechanical stability.

The connectors are available in up to 16 poles, with wire entry sizes up to 16 mm2 and current rating up to 76 A. The connectors are available with screw flanges, enabling the male and female to be locked together.

Moulded from green UL94V-0 flame-retardant plastic, additional features include rising clamp screw terminals, polarised moulding of the connectors to ensure correct connection, custom colours and special markings.
