OKW Gehäusesysteme has introduced a smaller size to its Ergo-Case range - the XS. The dimensions of the XS version are 80 x 56 x 22 mm (L x W x H). The XS is available in the standard colours of off-white (RAL 9002) and black (RAL 9005), made of ABS (UL 94 HB).

A convex design to match the curves of the body is the characteristic feature of the Ergo-Case range of enclosures. They are made to be comfortable when worn on the arm, on the chest or around the waist.

The Ergo-Case XS consists of three individual parts as standard - a top part, a bottom part and an intermediate ring made of soft TPE material. The intermediate ring in the colour volcano serves as impact protection and is available in three different versions: with an eyelet for carrying around the neck with a lanyard, with two eyelets for a wrist strap or without any eyelets at all, for universal use. The top part has a convex, recessed surface for integrating membrane keypads.

The applications include mobile data acquisition and transmission in medical, laboratory and measuring technology, warehousing and sales logistics and in digital control engineering.

For applications close to the body, the range of accessories includes belts, bracelets or collars, a wrist strap as well as a belt/pocket clip.
