Boston Technology has released a series of high density, high-resolution analogue output boards for the PCI bus.
The PowerDAQ PD2-AO series is a flexible analogue output board, suitable for test signal generation, voltage output sources and machine control.
The board is available with eight, 16 or 32 independent analogue output channels. Each channel can output voltages and waveforms at 100 kS/s with 16-bit resolution.
The boards are configured with a bipolar output range of ±10 V. Each analogue output channel is calibrated independently using onboard software controlled calibration DACs. User defined power-on states can be configured for each output.
In addition, 16 digital I/O lines (5 V/TTL) are available via an internal connector, as well as three 24-bit counter timers and three clock/interrupt generation lines.
Included with the series is a software development kit that includes complete support for Windows 95/98/NT and example programs with source code for Visual C++, Visual Basic, Delphi and Borland C++ Builder.
Complete drivers for LabVIEW, HP VEE, DASYLab, TestPoint and DIAdem software are included.
