ROLEC commandCASE diecast aluminium enclosures
ROLEC has launched commandCASE - a range of high-quality diecast aluminium enclosures for industrial control applications. The tough and versatile enclosures can be mounted on suspension arms, machine housings, walls and bulkheads.
Their robust construction and IP66 protection rating makes the products suitable for marine and offshore applications. Ergonomic wing-shaped handles mean the units can be manoeuvred quickly and easily when fitted to suspension arms. The lid has a large 1.7 mm deep recess for mounting a membrane keypad or product label.
The standard version has a hinged lid with snap closures (with or without an optional key lock on the snap closure). Version I has a hinged lid secured from the rear on the unhinged side by two stainless steel screws. Version II has an unhinged lid secured by four stainless steel screws. Polypropylene lid retaining straps are also supplied.
The rear screw ports are covered by snap-in plugs to prevent tampering and provide extra ingress protection. Six sizes are available in each version - from 230 x 200 x 120 mm to 430 x 300 x 120 mm - in light grey or custom colours.
The chloroprene lid gasket is designed for temperatures ranging from -30 to +90°C. The temperature range can be increased by specifying an optional silicon gasket (-50 to +140°C).
Users can specify an EMC gasket to prevent electromagnetic interference and other accessories include an internal mounting plate. Customisation options include CNC milling and drilling; silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos; and assembly of cable glands and other components.
