ADC Krone Australia has won a three-year contract to assist in supplying Telstra's Customer Access and Inter Exchange Network.

Under the contract, Krone's Carrier Network division will provide connectivity products used for Telstra's Customer Access Network Customer Premises Equipment and IEN - that is from the telephone exchange to the outlet in the home or business.

This contract incorporates the provision of Krone's Carrier Network products, including customer premises equipment such as frames and accessories, telephone sockets, 2 and 8 Mbps DDF and twisted pair termination modules.

Krone's Highway Media range of modular telephone outlets for business and domestic use is a key part of the contract. This range is used as the network boundary or demarcation point between Telstra's network and the building owner's, meeting the demands of the worldwide adoption of modular outlet standards.
